Working in partnership with Prof Jing Chen (Maggie) and Dr Tengxiang Su at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, and supported by the AI for Collective Intelligence (AI4CI) Hub, we’re advancing new scientific approaches that bring together language, mathematics, design and vulnerability markers into a single, rigorous AI framework.
Through the Digital Sandbox, we will focus on:
- Optimising numerical information for clarity and decision confidence.
Identifying risks in tables, figures and data presentation. - Improving communication design, writing and visualisation.
- Tailoring outputs to vulnerable or low-confidence consumers.
Delivering measurable MI that evidences comprehension and outcomes.
Our models go beyond traditional language analysis, incorporating mathematical reasoning, information structure, sentiment, visual interpretation and consumer capability.
This work, funded by the AI4CI Hub led by the University of Bristol with six partner universities, strengthens the bridge between academic research and real-world AI solutions.
Together, we’re enabling firms to scale compliance, improve clarity and help consumers confidently engage with complex information.
We’ve already begun development and will begin integrating the new maths, number, language, vulnerability and structure risk models into the Amplifi platform from Q1 2026.
Stay tuned! We will be providing more updates on progress throughout our period in the Sandbox.
